Important Entry and Parking Information Please read on:
Classes are in Studio 11, on the first floor (which looks like the second floor from the parking lot and side entrances). If you are entering from the McGuffey side entrances, go up the first flight of stairs, and look for studio 11, which is at the end of the hall closest to the Market St. side entrance. If you take the elevator adjacent to the parking lot, press 1 on the elevator. Go out to the main hallway, and go right. Make sure you carry or hold your child's hand. There is often fragile art on display on pedestals in the hallway. We ask that children do not yell or run in the hallways so that we can be respectful to artists working in their studios. Thanks for your help.
MONDAY CLASSES: On Mondays, the doors to the McGuffey building are locked, as the building is closed to the general public. All students must enter the building through the elevator which can be found in the rear of the building. Please press the 'Call' button on the silver box, on the brick wall, to the left of the elevator doors. This will ring an app on our phones so that we may let you in.
Parking:
The McGuffey lot is behind the building, You may park in the spots under the trees on the side facing away from the building. The building side spots are reserved for renting artists. We will provide parking passes at your first class, which you must display in your front window. These spaces are first come, first serve, so give yourselves some time ahead of class to find parking. If you park in the McGuffey lot, be sure to only stay for the hour that you are in class so that other patrons to the building have an opportunity to use those spots.
On street parking is also an option in the spots located between the McGuffey building and McGuffey Park as well as the side streets in front and along side the building.
Hill and Wood Funeral Home allows the public to park in their lot during times when they do not have funerals or events. Signs will be out when the lot is restricted. Please also be mindful of signs in the lot that are for staff and visitors to the funeral home. Please do not park in those spots.
